According to the Billboard website, Billie Eilish has been nominated for the third year straight. For those who might not know, Taylor Hawkins was actually the drummer for the rock band Foo Fighters. Sadly, he died on March 25th.
She honors Taylor Hawkins by wearing a round-neck shirt during her performance. Her own set for the performance is absolutely incredible and worth the watch. It can be seen that she really poured her heart out for that. According to Billboard, Billie Eilish has stated that the sad news of Taylor Hawkins dying was truly heartbreaking for her to know.
She also added, “It was right before we went on stage. And we got the news and it really, really tore us all apart. It’s horribly, horribly tragic”. Previously, Billie Eilish has won the Oscar for best original song with her brother Finneas. The win is actually for their Bond theme song. The song is actually the No Time To Die song. Great for both of them.
