KITKAT Berkongsi Rezeki This Ramadan And Syawal

The time of Ramadan and Syawal signifies a time of compassion, sharing and gratitude.  These holy months are celebrated among loved ones by Muslims around the world, encouraging kind virtues not only among those celebrating but often extended to everybody around. KITKAT is all about putting a smile on everyone’s faces so in hopes of making this festive season even more joyful, KITKAT is joining in to Break fast and cele-Break Raya with its consumers this year.

KITKAT is embracing Ramadan virtues with its #RezekiDikongsiBersama nationwide campaign happening from 1-April until 31-May 2022. During this duration, RM0.10 will be donated to charity organisations with every purchase of KITKAT packs. The organisations include the Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia, Dignity for Children Foundation, and EPIC Homes.

Centred on giving back to society, #RezekiDikongsiBersama campaign also aims to drive #SupportLokal through its collaboration with two local Malaysian businesses. One of which is “BINGKA”, a design brand that is unique to the Malaysian culture. A special BINGKA x KITKAT exclusive line of merchandise will also be on sale in conjunction with the campaign, including the KITKAT Luminarc glass jar designed by BINGKA. The second business is “Sugar and I”, a favourite local bakery that will have KITKAT flavoured bombolinis for sale. Both wonderful partners are in sync with the mission at hand and will participate to donate a percentage of their sales throughout the campaign duration.

Frédéric Porchet, Business Executive Officer for Confectionery Business Unit, Nestlé Malaysia and Singapore, said “We recognize that Ramadan is a month that promotes generosity and compassion, and KITKAT wants to embrace that. This campaign is a humble way for one of Malaysian’s favourite chocolate brands to be part of this blessed season. The charity homes were chosen for the exemplary and meaningful work they do. The donation will allow them to pay it forward and offer more for the community.”

Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia distributes food aid to the underprivileged communities while Dignity for Children Foundation is working to break the cycle of poverty among urban poor children through quality education.  EPIC Homes transforms peoples’ lives by providing them shelters, with their current focus set on helping the Orang Asli communities in Peninsular Malaysia.

KITKAT celebrates with their consumers through its Raya Edition products with new festive sleeves adorning the packaging. This special range of Raya inspired products include the KITKAT Luminarc Glass Jar with 2 Packs of KITKAT Mini Sharebags, KITKAT 4F 3+1 Raya Multipack, KITKAT 12s Sharebag Raya Sleeve and KITKAT Senses Raya Sleeve.

KITKAT is also offering new ways for you to maximize the Raya fun! Share how you Berkongsi Rezeki using the #RezekiDikongsiBersama filter, and don’t forget to check out the music video to enjoy some Raya jam and send a Raya wish to your loved ones through KITKAT E-greeting.
