Paradigm Mall JB Recognised And Awarded As The First-Ever Premier Festive Mall In Johor

Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru (“Paradigm Mall JB”), one of the shopping malls under WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd (“WCT Malls”) was recognised as the first-ever Premier Festive Mall, an achievement that coincides with Paradigm Mall JB’s 5th anniversary. The recognition is an acknowledgement by the Johor state government for its efforts in driving tourists to the mall and being one of the favourite travel destinations that integrates cultural heritage and modern retail.

The recognition was made during the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Paradigm Mall JB and the Johor Tourism Interchange (JTI) which signified JTI as the malls’ Digital Marketing Partner and reaffirms the commitment to promoting the tourism-retail industry, especially on the latest activities, and unique attractions in Johor.

The MoU was inked by JTI representative, Mohd Fairuz Iskandar Abd Aziz, and Paradigm Mall JB representative, Selena Chua during the Bangsa Johor Festival at Paradigm Mall Convention Hall and was officiated and witnessed by YB Datuk Seri Dr Santhara J.P, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. 

As a commercial and social sanctuary place, Paradigm Mall JB capitalised on the opportunity to showcase Johor’s unique culture and attractions in a bid to allure locals, Singaporean and international tourists to visit Johor where they can have the best shopping experience while they immerse in an array of offers, exhibitions, performances and activities.

PARADIGM MALL JB AS THE PREFERRED TOURIST DESTINATION

Paradigm Mall JB has touched the soul of Johoreans and its neighbouring domestic and international communities for memorable experiences at the mall since its establishment with record-breaking value-added elements such as the festive decorations namely with the ‘Malaysia’s Biggest Upside-Down Christmas Tree’, ‘The Largest Indoor Pineapple Farm’ that featured Pekan Nanas in Johor, and ‘The Biggest Inflatable Cartoon Character’ themed Raya decoration that sealed  the mall’s name in the Malaysia Book of Record.

The developer of Johor Tourism Interchange,  HDA Digital Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Fairuz Iskandar Abd Aziz, added “It is important for  government agencies and corporations to work together to transform Johor tourism in an effort to build resilience since we have been impacted by COVID-19. With the border reopening soon, our key priority is to welcome tourists back to Johor with exciting promotions across the hospitality, retail and tourism sectors.”

With the reopening of the Malaysian border on April 1, Paradigm Mall JB is all geared to welcome back international visitors for a fun getaway experience. The mall also has upgraded its facilities with the nanoe X Technology air purification solution for cleaner recirculated air and the COVID-19 prevention procedure in place for visitors’ comfortable experience at the premises. With major components of arts, entertainment, and attractions injected into the mall’s planned activities, Paradigm Mall JB is looking forward to hosting the visitors on an unforgettable experience.
