Rihanna and Beyoncé have recently made headlines all over the news website. This is due to the investment that they have done in a famous fashion brand. Usually known as Destree. It is a French ready-to-wear and accessories brand.

As stated by Billboard, the co-founder of Destree that is Géraldine Guyot has mentioned some of the names that are also involved. They are Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, and also Gisele Bündchen. All of them are classified under the all-female A-list investors’ roster. Géraldine Guyot also added, “We were not only looking for money because money is easy to find. What is hard to find is people with different expertise”. That is why the brand decides to have women on the roster. With intention.

Even with all of the inventors, Géraldine Guyot and Lumbroso still in charge, Both of them will still stay in majority control of the business. For those who do not know, Géraldine Guyot and Lumbroso are strategic for the investors.

They only targeted potential investors with certain criteria. Some of the examples would be those with backgrounds in sustainability and entrepreneurship. In addition to that, they also would have the knowledge in communications, fashion-tech, entertainment, and also beauty. That is indeed a very great strategy from both of them while searching.
