How To Tell People That Your Headlights Are Not On? Here’s How!

Have you ever been in a situation where when you are driving at night and the car in front of you did not open their headlights? Driving in the dark can be dangerous for you and other drivers. It can cause accidents because other people cannot see the car in the dark.

Recently, a dash cam video posted on the DashCam Owners Malaysia Facebook group shows a driver driving at night when he noticed the car in front of him had not opened its headlights. So he found a clever way of telling the car to open the headlights.

The dash cam video shows the driver turning their headlights off and on again. This causes the road to becoming dark, forcing the car that did not turn its lights off to turn it on.  What a simple but ingenious way of telling someone that their headlights are off!

Facebook netizens share their thoughts on the video. A commenter said, “these are the best tips..this is a good post.”

One more commenter gave his reason as to why people don’t open their lights. “Cars with DRL (daytime running lights) is usually the one that are difficult to open. It looks “bright” because it has DRL. Behind is dark. Harmful to other users”
