Quinn Young, aged 10, became the youngest person to conquer all 282 Munros in Scotland. Young had started her first ever mountain bagging when she was only four. At the age of five, she succeeded in ascending Ben Navis. For additional information, Ben Navis is Scotland’s highest mountain, with a summit of 4,411 feet above sea level.
According to BBC, the 10-year-old wished she could bag all of the Munros before she started primary school. The preparation that she made before climbing the mountains were food, water, waterproofs, and other equipment.
Young’s father, 47, could not be more proud of his daughter’s achievement. He mentioned that her little girl’s success in bagging the Munros was also because of people’s support. He was proud that even in extreme weather like during the winter, her daughter never had any complaints.
Quinn Young showed her appreciation to her father. She said that she is going to miss their moments together up in the mountains. Her father is always by her side during the adventure.
Even though the father and daughter duo are able to bag any mountain, they sometimes have to stop their journey and turn back for safety reasons.
