Most creative anniversary watch from Alexander Shorokhoff. The newest, most creative, and crazy automatic watch “Crazy Balls” continues the line of avant-garde watches of the brand Alexander Shorokhoff. It is the successor of the first-anniversary model “Crazy Eyes”, which was dedicated to Gustav Klimt, fitting for the 30th anniversary of the manufacture.
And as the name suggests, this artistic model is once again about the somewhat crazy fantasies of a wristwatch by Alexander Shorokhov. Because the rapid sale of the first-anniversary model “Crazy Eyes”, which was limited to only 30 pieces, proved Alexander Shorokhov right: customers love his crazy interpretations, his free spirit, and his fearless courage to use color. Therefore, the still ongoing requests for the predecessor, which was already sold out for a long time, alone did not make him hesitate to develop this new model to meet the great demand of the customers.
The “Crazy Balls” enchants new, artistic design ideas and colors. Here, the colorful enameled “balls” that shift from the center of the dial to the outside play the main role and are the namesakes of the watch. They are not placed symmetrically and evenly, but randomly and freely according to colors and sizes, and are somewhat lifted from the dial. They transmit a sense of joy, enthusiasm, and mobility, literally dancing on the scene of the pink or silver dial. But other balls can also be found on the dial, such as the tennis ball or a technical representation of the globe under the great trademark, the large number “60”.
As many “balls” as can be seen on the dial, so many different opinions, stories, colors, and emotions are told by the new watch. And it is to this aspect that Alexander Shorokhov pays tribute: VARIETY, EMOTION, and COURAGE. This watch suits every watch lover in the world, in your very own interpretation.
The other elements of the dial, with their special shape and colors, complement the whole composition of the new “AS – movement”, which at the beginning were not so easy to put together. Because the dial consists of several layers, many different applications, and different materials such as mother of pearl, brass, and several colors. But in the end, everything harmonizes and evokes a cheerful and positive emotion. In combination with the avant-garde crazy face, a matching bracelet was created: a stingray leather strap in blue and red color. However, the final color of the stingray leather strap in red may differ slightly, as the stingray skin is a natural product. The usual look in a stainless steel case in 39 mm with 5 ATM water resistance remains.
The movement used is the robust and very reliable Swiss automatic caliber SW200 caliber, which is hand engraved and refined in the watch manufactory “Alexander Shorokhoff”. It has blued screws and a power reserve of 38 hours.
All in all, the new art object “Crazy Balls” is a crazy innovative work of art for the wrist, which is fully in line with the philosophy of the brand. This time Alexander Shorokhoff even increases the limitation to 88 pieces per model, in order to already meet the high demand and advance reservations of retailers and customers.
