The snippet of the film

The film introduces us to a protagonist, Coraline Jones, who just moved to a new town with her parents. She is depicted as a bored and unhappy girl. Both of her parents are too caught up with their work that they barely have time for her. One day, while wandering around her new home, she discovers a hidden door. The door leads her to an idealized version of her life. In the new ‘world,’ she meets the doppelgängers of everyone she knows, including her parents. What differentiates them are their ‘buttoned eyes.’ There, her parents are also very fond of her. Everything seems perfect until she realizes something is off. Spooky! Not going to spoil the movie for those who have not watched it. Let’s move on to the moral lessons from Coraline.
