Khloe Kardashian, 38, one of The Kardashians, announced that she underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her face. It is one of the skin cancer. She uploads her Instagram story in more detail on Tuesday, Oct 11, about the tumor removal. She decides to go for a consult with a doctor about the small lump because it does not heal.
“After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging,” Kardashian wrote next to a close-up shot of the bump.
Khloe Explains Her Experience Go For The Dermatologists
Kardashian further explained that she met as many as two dermatologists. It is to identify the problem she is facing. The two dermatologists believe that such cases are sporadic around her age.
“A few days later I was told I need to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face,” she went on. Kardashian said she chose Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher, a “dear friend” of her family, to perform the surgery.
“I’m grateful to share that Dr. Fisher was able to get everything — all my margins appear clear and now we are onto the healing process,” the reality star wrote.
Kardashian added that after the surgery, she had to wear bandages. Once the bandages are removed, the surgery will likely leave a dent. However, this does not affect her enthusiasm to continue being fashionable.
Kardashian stated that she always wears sunscreen when doing outdoor activities. Even so, he advised to carry out a skin examination with a dermatologist as a precaution. Never forget to use sunscreen. It is vital!
“So I am precomposed to melanomas,” she wrote, adding that “even those that are not” should undergo routine skin cancer screenings.
“Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as our annual checkups,” she wrote.
