Ahmad Faris Abdul Hamid, the founder of TAPAUfest said, Lenggong is one of UNESCO‘s heritage sites. Due to that, he chose the place as the venue of the event. On top of that, visitors can join many activities there.

Ahmad Faris added, “We listened to those people who longed to explore rural places in Malaysia. After COVID-19 hit the world, everyone wants more than just a concert. In Lenggong, with the lake and hills surrounding the area, it will be a magnificent experience for the visitors.”

With the theme of #SerumpunBerpesta, TAPAUfest presents us with twelve performances from three countries for two days. The singers and bands that will blow up the event are The Times, Salammusik, Margasatwa, Kungfu Heidi, and Sweetass. They are all from Malaysia! Besides that, all away from Indonesia, you will get a chance to meet Feast, THE DARE and Hindia. Also, Abangsapau, The Pinholes, and Sobs from Singapore will be there too!

Watching people sing is never enough. That is why TAPAUfest presents visitors with indie films to enjoy. Those who are interested may also join the ‘BENGKEL + LAYAR’ workshop, a collaboration with Kakiseni.

Of course, TAPAUfest will bring you fun. But what is more important is that its mission is to improve the local’s economic state through food and drinks. You can find them at ‘WARUNG’ and you can support local’s products that can be found at the booths.

This event is supported by Majlis Daerah Lenggong and Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA). The indie communities such as Waka, Ipoh Social Club, Santuy, Kadiak, Versussika, PBUY, Outsiders Bike, and Anbot also made this happen.

Before this, TAPAUfest 2021 created history for the first time when 1,1000 visitors joined the event.

It is hoped that TAPAUfest 2022 will be the same too. Make sure to visit www.TAPAUfest.asia to grab your tickets.
