Trailer Driver Arrested, Help Investigate Alleged Beating of Traffic Police

A statement from Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) regarding viral video between a truck driver and a traffic police is out last night. Yesterday, an owner of a video that went viral on TikTok, expressed his disappointment for not being respected as a truck driver. He claimed that police traffic beat him. After the investigation, PDRM took note of the case after the accused traffic police made a report on it.  The traffic police stated that he was on duty when he saw a truck on the right side of the road. Only light vehicles are permit to be on the right side of the road.

The traffic police added that the suspect did not want to cooperate during the investigation. The suspect even called out obscene words to the traffic police. The truck driver acted rashly and punched the traffic police. Due to that, minor confrontations and conflicts happened. 

The statement also stated that PDRM captured the suspect for further investigation.

When the video is viral, people are questioning if the said incident did happen, as the truck driver said. Nevertheless, when the statement is announced by PDRM, people are beginning to see the light, and let the police to take over the next investigation.
