A man in Singapore filed for a divorce against his wife after claiming that his wife was too obsessed with her dogs and had some ridiculous behavior.

The man has filed for divorce for those reasons. For your information, in Singapore, the law has recognized unreasonable behavior as one of the other four reasons for a divorce application.

The man had actually filed divorce proceedings in July 2020. He was also trying to prove to the authorities that his wife had behaved absurdly. They have not been living as a couple since 2013.

There are also several other reasons why the man filed for divorce. Some of the reasons are:

  • her difficulties controlling her temper and setting fair expectations
  • likes to demand unreasonable things
  • does not allow her husband to continue living without her
  • her refusal to get a job or be financially independent

In the meantime, as support to help his case in court, the man has already submitted evidence in the form of 300 pages of transcripts of their conversations in the two years before he filed for divorce.
