TikToker Remembers ‘Take Me Higher’, Makes Many Feel the Nostalgia of Ultraman Tiga

It has been more than 20 years since Ultraman Tiga debuted globally. Since their debut, they have captured the hearts of many young people at that time.

The show initially premiered on September 7, 1996, until August 30, 1997. The show ran for a total of 52 episodes and also created 5 movies.

Ultraman Tiga was the first Ultraman to be able to change fighting modes and have non-red colors. It is said that Ultraman Tiga is amongst the most famous of all Ultraman.

I am sure young Malaysians at that time will remember the iconic pose and theme song ‘Take Me Higher’ that the show had. On the other hand, Malaysians in the future might not even remember this show.

As time change, so does people. This TikTok user shows what can happen in the future.

TikTok user @amynganas posted the video on his TikTok which received a lot of views. Take a look at his video below:

The video shows him acting what his future self in 2030 would do when his children ask what song was being played. The song was Ultraman Tiga’s theme song. It then shows him getting emotional and before he breaks out the iconic Tiga pose.

I mean who could blame him right? I am sure many people would also do the pose when listening to the theme song.

TikTok users’ comments

A lot of TikTok also can relate to @amynganas. Many shared their memories of the time when they were young. A TikTok user commented that he remembers going back from school and opening Astro Ceria to watch it.

Another commented that if his children ask what song it was, he would also tell them the story of the Ultraman.
