Woman Shares Experience, Walking For Hours After LRT Service Is Suspended

16 LRT stations being closed for seven days has caused difficulty for the LRT passengers. Many people commute from home to work by LRT. That is also the only way for them to go home after work.

Yesterday, a Twitter user, @leesaveslee shared her experience and disappointment due to the closing of LRT stations. In her tweet, she stated that she had to take the monorail from Kuala Lumpur to Bukit Bintang. After that, she took the LRT from Bukit Bintang to Pasar Seni. Then, she had to wait for the free bus to go to Ara Damansara.

@leesaveslee revealed that she and the other passengers of the bus had to walk for hours to Glenmarie LRT Station after the bus dropped them off on the roadside.

Many people were shocked that this had to happen, and some could relate to her situation.

It is indeed dangerous to walk on a busy road filled with vehicles, especially when it is already dark outside.

In this calamity, many people are with the people who are in trouble. Many good-hearted people offered help to ease the burden of the people who got affected by the closure of the LRT stations.

Besides that, there is another way to go to Glenmarie without walking. Nevertheless, these people who had to walk for hours did not know that. Luckily, with this comment, it would be a help:

Some wondered why not take a grab car? For additional information, the payment for the grab when it is peak hour will cost much. Some people can not afford that.

It is hoped that this kind of situation would not happen again in the future.
