As we all know, the Deputy Minister of Finance of our country is Datuk Seri Haji Ahmad bin Maslan. But, what does he have to do with our discussion for today, which is ‘nasi goreng?’

In a video on TikTok shared by @goldanecattery, he asks a question to Datuk Ahmad Maslan. He asks him to share his ‘nasi goreng’ recipe.

Upon hearing the question, Datuk Ahmad Maslan looks bewildered for a second. Maybe he does not expect the question from @goldanecattery

Thus, let’s look into our Deputy Minister of Finance’s ‘nasi goreng’ recipe.

  • Palm oil
  • Onion
  • Eggs
  • Ginger. Yes, you read that right. According to Datuk Ahmad Maslan, ginger is what makes the ‘nasi goreng’ special.
  • Cooked rice
  • Salt to taste
  • Most importantly, sincerity. You have to cook it with an open heart. Thus, it will be delicious.
  • Meat, chicken, anchovies, or vegetables (cabbage) (if you like)

Voila! That is the recipe.

However, some people find it weird that ginger is one of the ingredients in the recipe.
