Director of Mechamato Movie Hopes For Cinema Companies To Give More Show Times

Yesterday, a Youtuber named ZhafBlog disclosed the treatment of cinema companies of our local movies. He was not the only one who noticed the unfair treatment between Mechamato Movie and Avatar 2. Read here.

According to the Founder of MONSTA and the director of Mechamato Movie, Nizam Abdul Razak on Facebook, he got the chance to visit a cinema before he went to perform Umrah. He found out that Mechamato Movie does not have any showtime at night. What disappointed him was that our local movie is not being shown at night, but an international movie, Avatar 2 has its show time at night.

Nizam also noticed that there are about three to four families at the cinema with him. He did not reveal what cinema he was at. They were planning to watch Mechamato Movie. However, it was an opportunity loss for the family because Mechamato Movie was unavailable that time. Thus, they had no other choice than to buy tickets for Avatar 2.

The unjust showtimes given to Mechamato Movie compared to Avatar 2 have made it impossible for our local movie to compete further. Therefore, Nizam hopes for the cinema companies to give it a chance to Mechamato Movie to have more show times like any other international movie.

Nevertheless, other people revealed that some cinemas still managed to give show time for Mechamato Movie until night.

That is good news! We still have a chance! Thus, let’s buy ourselves the tickets for Mechamato Movie!
