Malaysian singers like Dato’ Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Ernie Zakri, Aina Abdul and many more are also loved for their angel-like voices and, yes, the high notes.
If we look through the lens of our country, Malaysia sure has a lot of talented singers. From the earliest age of toddlers to high schoolers, the future of Malaysia’s entertainment industry is in good hands.
And this one form three student from Sabah has more to show than what meets the eye. You’ll be blown away by his beautiful and honey-like voice!
This talented student’s name is Ivan
In a video shared by his teacher, @cb200715, on TikTok, the boy’s name is Ivan. He’s a 15-year-old (form 3) student from SMK Limbanak Penampang.
When the music started, Ivan stood from his seat and began singing. It is a song called Sang Dewi by Lyodra. We could safely say he got the groove in him because he sang so effortlessly! It was like a piece of cake for the talented Ivan!
As the song reached its end, Ivan serenaded us with a clean falsetto. Truthfully, he might be the next Ariana Grande or Ziana Zain at this point!
People can’t get enough of him
Everyone was caught off guard by Ivan’s golden voice. They called him Sabah’s pride. Not only them, but we are proud of him too!
Interestingly, a Big Stage contestant from Sabah, Danial Chuer, also noticed Ivan’s beautiful singing.
