Large Crowd In Mall During New Year, Man Makes Creative Escape

On the 31st of December, many people took the chance to celebrate the new year. In Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, a huge crowd came to witness the celebration of 2023. However, the place was so packed with people that they could hardly move.

Let’s take a look at the video of this huge crowd at the mall shared by @vinnography on TikTok

Can you see that? That is a lot of people, and it looks like ants finding their way out of a place. What concerns me when I saw the video was the tragedy that befell the people in Itaewon during Halloween. Luckily, nothing unwanted happened during that day.

According to Mothership, the place was crowded because there were only two escalator functioning. The escalators were the ‘going-up’ escalator,’ and the ‘down escalator’ as seen in the video. No wonder the place was packed!

Despite the situation, a man makes a creative escape by going to the upper floor using the ‘down’ escalator. The video is shared by @annainasia.

As we all know, it is not easy to use the ‘down’ escalator if you are going up. You might be thinking you are moving up, but in fact, you are in the same place. However, this man did it! He deserved all the applause and cheering from the crowd.

Some people like celebrations, but some like to stay home. These stay-at-home peeps are glad they are not at the mall for the new year.

Which type of person are you?
