In school, we have learnt the phrase, ‘honesty is the best policy.’ From the phrase, we know there is no waste in being honest. Speaking out the truth is a respectable thing to do even for some, it is hard to do.
A few days ago, we have been served with a case where a GrabFood rider hit a man’s car. The man whose car got hit was amazed by the rider’s attitude of being honest when asked if he hit his car. Because of that, the man decided to let him go without bringing the case further. He did not even ask the rider to pay for his mistake.
That is it guys. That is what honesty does to a person. We also admire the man for not charging the rider with any payment for the car.
Not just that, but the rider’s honesty about his mistake caught the attention of our local actress, Fasha Sandha. She reposted the viral video about the rider on her Instagram and expressed her pride for the rider. She asked him to contact her because she had a surprise for him.
Fasha and her family treated the rider to a fancy meal. She adores his spirit of working to help his family at the age of nineteen years old.
