ERL Partners with Batik Air to Provide Seamless Travel Experience to Its Passengers

Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) is excited to announce its partnership with Batik Air, ushering in an era of enhanced services for travelers. Passengers embarking on Batik Air flights can now seamlessly purchase KLIA Ekspres tickets along with their flight bookings through Batik Air’s website, streamlining the entire process into a single, hassle-free transaction.

Moreover, Batik Air proudly re-introduces its popular in-town flight check-in and baggage drop facility at KL Sentral. Starting from 15th October 2023, Batik Air passengers will have the convenience of availing this service, designed to save them valuable time and alleviate the burdensome task of transporting luggage to the airport. The in-town flight check-in facility at KL Sentral will operate between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, aligning perfectly with KLIA Ekspres train schedule, which commences at 5:00 am and run every 20 minutes throughout the day, until the last train at 12:00 midnight.

“This collaboration underscores our unwavering commitment to deliver a seamless travel experience for both ERL and Batik Air passengers,” remarked Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive Officer of ERL. She further added, “Our passengers can conveniently check in for their flights and drop off their luggage at KL Sentral, then hop on the KLIA Ekspres, reaching the airport in a mere 28 minutes.”

Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, Group Strategy Director of Batik Air and Lion Group, expressed optimism for this collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to join forces with ERL to enhance the convenience of our passengers. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a seamless and stress-free travel experience. With the ability to book both flight and train tickets in a single transaction, our passengers can now plan their journeys more efficiently, eliminating the need to navigate multiple websites.”

To celebrate the inauguration of the Batik Air in-town flight check-in service, Batik Air is extending exclusive perks to its passengers utilising this facility. Passengers stand a chance to win a return flight ticket to Danang or Bangkok through an exclusive lucky draw. Additionally, they will enjoy a RM10 discount on their next KLIA Ekspres ticket purchase. The RM10 voucher, available for a limited time, will be provided by ERL to each adult passenger using the airline check-in facility at KL Sentral and can be redeemed until 31st December 2023.
