ANTA Malaysia Launches Inaugural Shoe Donation Drive In The Spirit Of Ramadan

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, ANTA, a prominent global sportswear brand, introduces its inaugural #ANTABersamaAnda shoe donation campaign, embodying the essence of compassion and solidarity. With a commitment to giving back to communities, ANTA invites Malaysians to unite in donating their pre-loved shoes to support the less fortunate.

From today until 5 April, ANTA will be collecting gently used shoes at designated drop-off points in the Klang Valley, namely The Exchange TRX, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Sunway Pyramid, and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru, aiming to gather a minimum of 200 pairs. These donated shoes will be distributed to underserved communities supported by Teach for Malaysia and Women of Will. Additionally, ANTA will provide new shoes and apparel, ensuring recipients are ready to step into the joyous festivities of Raya with confidence.

Ms Pang Sook Fong, Country Manager of ANTA Malaysia, believes that this initiative will not only give love to old shoes again but also reduce environmental footprint.

“ANTA is thrilled to spearhead this meaningful effort, intertwining sustainability with social responsibility. By repurposing pre-loved shoes and empowering underprivileged individuals with good shoes, particularly children and women, we aspire to make a tangible difference in their lives, fostering a brighter future.”

In appreciation of these contributions, every customer who donates a pair of shoes will receive an exclusive discount on selected ANTA footwear products (subject to terms and conditions).

“ANTA remains steadfast in its commitment to driving positive change within communities through sustainable initiatives. We believe in not only providing high-quality sports products but also uplifting those in need, enabling them to move forward with confidence,” added Ms Sook Fong.

To complement the #ANTABersamaAnda campaign, ANTA will host a series of in-store events starting 15 March 2024. Customers can visit ANTA stores or explore my.anta.com for attractive offers and exciting events.

Not only that, interested runners can join the Run-Madan with ANTA Running Team (ART) alongside local running clubs in the Klang Valley. Runners can stay updated on ANTA’s social media platforms for details of these events.

That’s not all the exciting things to end! In April 2024, ANTA will be introducing the ANTA KAI 1, the inaugural release from Kyrie Irving’s signature line of basketball footwear, to the Malaysian market. Following overwhelming demand globally, the ANTA KAI 1 promises a fusion of functionality and aesthetics, delivering exceptional performance for basketball enthusiasts.
