Incubus Thrills Kuala Lumpur With A Phenomenal Show For Their 2024 Asia Tour

‘Incubus Live In Malaysia’ last night marked the band’s highly anticipated return to Malaysia after six years as part of their 2024 Asia Tour, organised by one of Malaysia’s leading event management companies, Hitman Solutions. The tour’s third stop saw Incubus delivering an electrifying performance that rocked the stage at Mega Star Arena KL on April 27th, 2024.

After rocking Jakarta on the 23rd and Manila on the 25th of April, Incubus brought their energy-packed performance to Kuala Lumpur without missing a beat. The atmosphere at Mega Star Arena KL was electric as more than 5,000 Malaysian and international fans filled the venue, eagerly awaiting Incubus’ performance. With an extensive discography and intense showmanship, the band delivered an unforgettable experience, satisfying every rock craving in attendance.

Reflecting on the success, Mr. Rohit Rampal, CEO & Founder of Hitman Solutions, stated, “After orchestrating two large-scale rock concerts earlier this year and delivering one high-nostalgia epic after another with UND3RGROUND and Sum 41, we anticipated a resurgence of the genre. The positive response from our organised concerts is the motivation for us to bring even more international artists to Malaysia.

The pre-Y2K rock stars performed their best hits such as ‘Drive’, ‘Anna Molly’, and ‘Wish You Were Here‘, igniting the crowd with lead singer Brandon Boyd’s haunting voice and guitarist Mike Einzinger’s and drummer José Pasillas‘ chemistry riffing off each other. This was complemented by Nicole Row’s killer bass skills in her first-time performance in Malaysia.

“We aim to bridge the gap between international artists and local fans,” Mr. Rohit emphasised. “Thrilled to provide such opportunities for our homegrown rock enthusiasts, and Incubus definitely delivered with an outstanding performance.”

Looking ahead, Mr. Rohit revealed, “As part of our 15-year anniversary goals, we’re set to make 2024 a big one. With plans for numerous shows already in motion and a broader exploration of genres, it’s a year of exciting possibilities.

While we continue to thrive in the rock scene, we’re always looking into other genres. The upcoming second edition of the Pinkfish Music & Arts Festival on 8th June 2024, featuring headliner Armin Van Buuren and other heavy-hitters like Miss Monique, AVAO, and Topic, promises an unforgettable night. We hope the enthusiasm for all our shows continues across genres.

With that in mind, stay on the lookout for new concert announcements and dates; we have a lot in store.”

The concert, ‘Incubus Live In Malaysia,’ owes its success to the support of the show’s partners; Fly FM and Hot FM (Official Radio Partners), and the contributions of Rockstar Touring and LAMC Productions.
