McDonald’s Malaysia Honored for Sixth Consecutive Year at CSR Malaysia Awards 2024 for Longstanding Community Engagement

McDonald’s Malaysia has been honored with the Community Engagement & Upliftment Award in the Quick Service Restaurant category at the 9th edition of the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2024. The award ceremony, officiated by Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, celebrated outstanding Malaysian corporations for their exemplary efforts in ESG and corporate social responsibility.

This marks the sixth consecutive year McDonald’s Malaysia has been recognized by CSR Awards Malaysia, underscoring its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. McDonald’s Malaysia continues to highlight its role as a deeply rooted local operation dedicated to serving the Malaysian community.

McDonald’s Malaysia’s recognized initiatives include the longstanding Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s, McDonald’s Community Month celebration with orphanages, as well as various seasonal celebrations and charitable contributions like Chinese New Year festivities with senior citizens, Misi Moreh Mekdi during Ramadan. These are just some of the many initiatives that McDonald’s Malaysia has been committed to for over a decade, demonstrating an enduring dedication to community engagement and social responsibility.
