Unveiling Sleek Winter Elegance for All: Universal Traveller Launches the Escapism 2024/25 Collection

Universal Traveller, the renowned fashion and travel brand, proudly launches its highly anticipated Escapism 2024/25 Collection at Mid Valley Megamall. Unveiled at the exclusive UT Arctic Line event, this collection tells a story of contemporary adventurers longing to break free from reality and embrace the beauty of freedom.

The launch attracted a distinguished gathering of celebrities, influencers, media representatives and enthusiastic travellers, all eager to experience the latest in travel-inspired fashion. Guests were immersed in a world where sleek winter elegance meets the spirit of adventure, showcasing the unique blend of style and functionality that Universal Traveller is celebrated for.

Founded in the 1970s, Universal Traveller has evolved from a winter wear retailer into a staple brand in Southeast Asia, with over 70 retail outlets across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Known for combining innovation with fashion, the brand’s latest collection stays true to this ethos.

The Escapism 2024/25 Collection features standout pieces like the Parka Pro, Premium White Goose Down jackets, and luxurious Cashmere Coats–all infused with advanced technology to deliver maximum warmth without compromising on sophistication.

“Our latest collection is designed not only for style but for the ultimate winter protection,” said Eric Poh, CEO of Universal Traveller. “Each piece is crafted to combine functionality and fashion, with innovative technology that ensures superior warmth, lightweight comfort, and durability. Whether you’re navigating urban landscapes or exploring snowy terrains, our collection has you covered.”

The event was further elevated by the presence of Malaysia’s first Grand Slam Explorer, Datuk Muhammad Muqharabbin Mokhtarrudin, also known as Qobin. A celebrated adventurer who has conquered the seven highest peaks on seven continents and explored both the North and South Poles, Datuk Qobin shared his passion for exploration with guests at the launch.

As he prepares to climb Mount Kinabalu the following day, Datuk Qobin has partnered with Universal Traveller to fuel his spirit of adventure. Showcasing his top picks from the Escapism 2024/25 Collection, he highlighted the durability and insulation provided by the Parka Pro down jacket and Block Pro premium hiking boots, which will accompany him on his journey to the peak of Mount Kinabalu.

Running from now till 17 November 2024, the UT Arctic Line event will be hosted in a captivating train-themed installation. Participants can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with engaging activities, including gashapon extravaganzas and immersive experiences, where they can redeem exclusive rewards like a limited-edition puffy sling bag. Guests are invited to explore the collection firsthand through a delightful mix of interactive displays, a motion sensor game, postcard sending stations to share the fun with loved ones, and dedicated photo spots for capturing memorable moments.

For those who missed the main event, Universal Traveller will host a series of pop-up events at Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and TRX from November to January. It’s the perfect time to discover the magic of winter fashion. The Escapism 2024/25 Collection is now available at Universal Traveller stores, specialty counters, and online at the Universal Traveller website, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
