HABIB Celebrates Malaysia’s Heritage with Modern Sparkle This Merdeka

Malaysia’s homegrown jeweller, HABIB, returns with its iconic Jualan Merdeka campaign, running nationwide from now until 1 September 2025 bringing together timeless craftsmanship, modern elegance, and national pride.

More than just jewellery, HABIB’s creations are stories cast in gold and gemstone each one carrying the heart of Malaysia’s culture, told through the hands of local artisans and in-house designers.

Where Heritage Meets Modern Elegance

For over 60 years, HABIB has championed Malaysian identity in its jewellery. This year, it reintroduces heritage-inspired classics like the beloved Cincin Buah Kana and Cincin Kapal Terbang, now reimagined into stackable rings, perfect for today’s wearers who value both style and sentiment.

There’s also the Merdeka Rings, crafted in yellow gold and adorned with diamonds, ruby, blue and yellow sapphire, reflecting the spirit and colours of Jalur Gemilang. Each ring carries the symbols of unity and freedom with a modern twist.

And for those who want a true showstopper: a tsavorite necklace with rose-cut diamonds, inspired by Malaysia’s lush green landscapes. It’s fluid, graceful and a beautiful tribute to our nation’s journey.

More Than Jewellery, It’s a Movement

Beyond sparkle, HABIB’s Merdeka campaign also shines a spotlight on local talent, with in-house design, local campaigns, and showroom experiences that feel world-class yet proudly Malaysian.

In the spirit of community and culture, HABIB also teams up with Didi & Friends for a fun-filled family experience, and Zoo Negara to support Malaysia’s conservation efforts, reminding us that celebrating Merdeka is also about giving back.

“Heritage is the soul of a nation,” says Dato’ Sri Meer Habib. “True luxury is rooted in culture and craftsmanship.”

This Merdeka, rediscover the beauty of Malaysia and wear it with pride.
