L’Oréal Paris Sets KL Fashion Week Ablaze with REDManifesto: 22 Women, 1 Movement, Infinite Worth

At KL Fashion Week 2025, beauty met purpose as L’Oréal Paris unveiled the REDManifesto Runway, a powerful blend of fashion, advocacy, and storytelling dedicated to celebrating women’s identity, self-worth, and resilience.

As the Official Beauty, Makeup & Hair Partner for the event, L’Oréal Paris transformed the runway into a platform for voices that matter. Rooted in the theme Duality, Form & Force, the showcase redefined the traditional catwalk, merging couture with activism to send a bold cultural message: every woman is worth it.

At its heart were 22 remarkable Women of Worth, each chosen for their strength, impact, and personal journey, from climate activists and cultural guardians to sports champions and entrepreneurs. Among them were Tehmina Kaoosji, a media personality spotlighting social inequalities; Aida Zunaidi, founder of Ibupreneur, empowering underserved mothers; Dato’ Jacqueline Fong, preserving Sarawak’s indigenous crafts; and Winifred Duraisingam, national cricket captain breaking barriers in sports.

The collections were brought to life through a collaboration with nine Malaysian designers, including Suet Lin, Zaff Jibby, Enya Chok, and Marcus Liew, each interpreting strength and femininity through their own lens. Sculptural silhouettes, architectural lines, emotional couture, and warrior-inspired tailoring turned the runway into a visual manifesto of identity and inclusion.

This year’s showcase also extended beyond the runway, with TikTok Shop as the official e-commerce partner, allowing viewers to shop looks live while engaging directly with the show through comments, reactions, and exclusive deals.

“REDManifesto isn’t just a show, it’s a statement. It’s about redefining beauty as power, visibility, and voice,” said a spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris.

Through this unprecedented fusion of beauty, fashion, and technology, L’Oréal Paris and KL Fashion Week 2025 have created more than a spectacle — they’ve ignited a movement. One stage, 22 women, and an infinite definition of worth.
