Huawei ICT Academy Will Level Up Your Digital Mastery

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Johor are collaborating to nurture top-tier, interdisciplinary talent. The partnership includes establishing a Huawei ICT Academy at UiTM Johor to equip students with digital and intelligent skills.

Tech Alert: Huawei ICT Has Arrived!

The Huawei ICT Academy will tap into Huawei’s global expertise and certification programs in 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cloud Computing. It will serve as a platform to enhance UiTM’s digital talent ecosystem across key technological domains.

Huawei and UiTM formalized the partnership through a Letter of Intent (LoI) at Huawei’s Intelligent World 2035 event in Segamat, Johor. The event featured seminars and workshops for students on the emerging trends and career opportunities in AI, cloud, and 5G. Also, it highlighted how intelligent platforms will revolutionize sectors such as healthcare, food, mobility, urban living, business, energy, and digital trust.

New Gen, New Intelligence. Level Up Your Future with AI

At the Intelligent World 2035 event, Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa emphasized Malaysia’s path toward an intelligent future. She said it depends on strong collaboration between the government, industry, and academia. Moreover, she added that such innovation must benefit all layers of society.

Technology is only part of the story. For this vision to be inclusive, sustainable, and meaningful, we must invest in people by building digital literacy. This will ensure access across socioeconomic groups and safeguard privacy and trust. By fostering innovation and supporting homegrown talent, we can reduce reliance on external technologies. This approach also helps ensure data sovereignty.
It is a critical foundation for our nation’s technological independence,
” –Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

Huawei’s Intelligent World 2035 envisions a society where advanced connectivity, AI, and cloud computing make intelligent solutions as accessible and essential as necessities.

The Intelligent World 2035 predicts major global changes by 2035. Advances in AI, next-generation networks like 5.5G and 6G, and smart platforms will drive this transformation. Furthermore, the lecture series aims to connect theory with real-world practice by engaging the nation’s young and emerging talents.

This partnership shows that UiTM is dedicated to helping the country develop skilled people who understand advanced technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are on the path to an “Intelligent World 2035,” and AI is a key component of this transformation.” –Professor Dr Saunah Zainon.
