KUMO KUMO Lands in Sunway Pyramid! Float into Flavour With Its Iconic Cheesecake

KUMO KUMO, the international dessert brand known for its soft, cloud-like Japanese cheesecakes, has officially entered the Malaysian market with its first store in Sunway Pyramid.

Following a successful one-month soft launch, the store has already attracted strong foot traffic and social media buzz from families, students, and young professionals.

To mark this milestone, the brand has appointed Malaysian singer Sam CN, one-half of the popular duo FS (Fuying & Sam), as its Store Manager for a Day for the grand opening celebration.

Craftsmanship at the Heart of the KUMO KUMO

Since its founding in 2020, KUMO KUMO has upheld a philosophy of handcrafted excellence. The brand selects quality ingredients and refines every detail of the baking process to create its signature soft, cloud-like cheesecakes.

Known for their airy, melt-in-your-mouth texture, their cheesecakes stand apart from traditional, dense varieties. It offers a lighter, more comforting dessert experience.

The brand’s hallmark open-kitchen concept brings this dedication to craftsmanship to life, showcased at the Sunway Pyramid outlet.

Each cheesecake is prepared in small batches. This allows customers to watch the full process, from the Gentle rise in the oven to the signature jiggly finish and live hot-stamping ritual.

This sensory experience has become a defining element of the brand across Asia.

Grand Opening Featuring Sam CN

KUMO KUMO’s team marks every freshly baked cheesecake with its iconic golden handbell ring. It is a simple yet memorable ritual symbolising the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, freshness, and joyful experiences.

It’s an honour to be invited as the One-day Store Manager for the grand opening.

Said Sam CN. He was recently nominated for TC Candler’s 2025 “100 Most Handsome Faces”.
