Pavilion REIT Malls x Nicol David Organisation: The Legacy of Little Legends Rise this Christmas Season to Conquer the World

The halls of Pavilion Bukit Jalil came alive with joy and laughter this festive season as more than 200 little legends and their families from the Nicol David Organisation gathered for a special celebration.

Together, they shared a magical Christmas experience filled with warmth, cheer, and unforgettable moments.

From the excitement of a movie screening to the thrill of a shopping spree, the day gave these inspiring children a holiday experience filled with wonder and warmth.

Every moment reminded them of the simple joy of being seen, valued, and celebrated.

For many of these children, the day at Pavilion Bukit Jalil was a first. The adventure began with a special screening of Zootopia 2, where the children were transported into a world of animated wonder.

Peanuts Attack is Coming!

The celebration carried on as Peanuts mascots delighted the children during a cheerful meet-and-greet, followed by a hearty lunch and refreshing treats.

As the atmosphere buzzed with excitement, the highlight many had been waiting for had arrived: a shopping spree at Parkson.

Pavilion REIT Malls contributed RM20,000 in Parkson shopping vouchers, transforming an ordinary shopping trip into an extraordinary experience.

Dedicated volunteers accompanied the children as they explored the store and carefully selected items of their choice.

The experience gave them a sense of independence and the excitement of choosing something special for themselves.

For children who usually focus on necessities, this moment of abundance carried deep meaning. It gave them the chance to feel valued, celebrated, and genuinely cared for during the festive season.

The heartwarming initiative is a testament to the growing partnership between Pavilion REIT Malls and the Nicol David Organisation.

A collaboration rooted in a shared belief that every child deserves opportunities to dream bigger.

Road to A Brighter Future

Earlier this year at the Pavilion Leadership Series, both organisations announced their two-year partnership.

This marks the beginning of a journey to empower young Malaysians through meaningful experiences and support.

Since then, Pavilion REIT Malls has served as the venue sponsor for NDO’s successful Sports Summit at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

This Christmas celebration continues that momentum, with more exciting initiatives already in the pipeline for next year.

At the heart of this partnership are the Little Legends themselves. It’s the children aged 8-13 from mid to low-income families who are being nurtured through NDO’s holistic after-school programme.

Squash legend Datuk Nicol David founded Little Legends to empower children through more than just sports.

The programme combines squash training with English tutoring and life-skills workshops.

It helps children build confidence, discipline, and resilience, especially those who might not otherwise access such opportunities.

Once A Genuine Bond is Formed

This Christmas celebration reflects Pavilion REIT Malls’ evolving vision of what a mall can be.

Not just a place for transactions, but a community space where people build meaningful connections and nurture positive change.

Through their support of NDO’s initiatives and creating experiences that go beyond retail, Pavilion REIT Malls is demonstrating that their commitment to the community runs deeper than storefronts and sales.

As the day drew to a close, the Little Legends left Pavilion Bukit Jalil after experiencing something meaningful: feeling that the community saw, celebrated, and supported them.

In a season that’s all about giving, Pavilion REIT Malls and the Nicol David Organisation have given these Little Legends something truly valuable.

Not just gifts and experiences, but the message that they matter, their dreams are worth nurturing, and that their community believes in them.
