LG Electronics Showcase Affectionate Intelligence in Action at CES 2026

LG Electronics did more than showcase technology at CES 2026. It told a story of how artificial intelligence can quietly integrate into everyday life.

Under the theme “Innovation in tune with you,” LG transformed its exhibition into a series of living spaces. In these spaces, AI listened, learned, and responded naturally to human needs. Rather than overwhelming visitors with specifications, LG focused on how technology could understand human behaviour and act with care. A concept the company calls Affectionate Intelligence.

Entrance Installation: “In Tune” Monument

The journey began at the entrance with the “In Tune” Monument. A floating wall of ultra-slim LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TVs greeted visitors and set the tone for the experience.

As the individual screens merged into a single moving image, they set the tone for LG’s message:

“Innovation works best when everything moves together.”

Living in Tune: The Zero Labour Home

Inside, LG invited visitors into the Zero Labour Home – an integrated ecosystem where the LG CLOiD home robot monitor the daily chores that no longer demanded constant attention.

At the centre of the zone is the LG CLOiD, which performs live demonstrations across three household scenarios:

  • Kitchen – Personalised meal planning for a four-person household
  • Living Room – Wellness monitoring and assistance for active seniors
  • Laundry Room – Automated clothing and garment management

LG CLOiD brings smart AI and seamless ThinQ™ integration to home life.

With precise hand movement and full-arm mobility, the robot demonstrated how AI could physically support daily life rather than simply advise it.

Connected through the ThinQ™ platform, CLOiD worked alongside smart appliances to anticipate needs and reduce household effort.

LG also introduced AXIUM™, a new robotic actuator brand designed to power the next generations of robots.

Built on LG’s deep expertise in motor technology, AXIUM focuses on compact design, high efficiency and powerful torque – positioning LG as a serious player in the fast-growing robotics market.

Ride in Tune: AI-Powered Mobility

The Ride in Tune zone presents LG’s vision for software-defined vehicles and intelligent in-cabin environments.

LG AI-powered In-Vehicle Solutions, which received the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category, are demonstrated through three core systems:

  • Mobility Display Solution – Converts the windshield into a display surface for real-time driving information and mixed-reality content during autonomous operation.
  • Automotive Vision Solution – Uses eye-tracking, driver monitoring and interior sensing to detect attention levels and passenger states, enabling adaptive safety functions and personalised
  • In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution – Supports seamless content streaming between home and car and enables communication through vehicle side windows.

Together, these modules demonstrate how LG’s on-device multimodal generative AI platform creates individualised, immersive experiences throughout every journey.

Viewing in Tune: AI-Driven Screens

The Viewing in Tune zone showcases LG’s AI-powered TV and display technology.

The OLED evo Wallpaper TV delivers vibrant visuals through Hyper Radiant Colour Technology in:

  • an ultra-slim
  • wireless design

While LG gallery+ curates art based on user preferences. webOS AI features enable natural voice control and smart content management.

LG also presents its flagship OLED evo G6, Micro RGB evo TVs, and the 136-inch AM Micro LED TV AI for immersive large-formal viewing.

Entertainment in Tune: Gaming and Audio

The Entertainment in Tune zone, created in collaboration with Reddit, showcases two gaming setups:

  • Console gaming using the OLED evo W6 and Aero Speaker
  • PC gaming using the UltraGear™ OLED GX9, which supports Dual Mode (5K2K at 165Hz and WFHD at 330Hz) with AI upscaling

These systems are designed to demonstrate LG’s wireless OLED displays TVs, high-refresh-rate panels and low-latency performance resolution gaming through AI upscaling.

The xboom Studio features LG’s latest xboom audio products, developed in collaboration with will.i.am:

  • LG xboom Stage 501 – for stage and live-performance environments
  • LG xboom Blast – a large portable speaker
  • LG xboom Mini and LG xboom Rock – compact everyday speakers

The studio also hosts The Lab featuring FYI.RAiDiO, an interactive AI-based radio experience created by will.i.am. Visitors can engage with AI hosts, participate in themed stations and explore real-time discussions on music, culture and technology.

Mastery in Tune: LG SIGNATURE

The Mastery in Tune zone showcases LG’s SIGNATURE lineup in collaboration with Italian luxury living brand Poliform, placing each product within an elegant, fully furnished interior.

LG equips the LG SIGNATURE refrigerator with conversational AI that understands natural language and offers personalised suggestions.

The Smart InstaView™ refrigerator further simplifies food management by using an internal camera through ThinQ™ Food to identify items, suggest recipes and recommend suitable substitutions.

The LG SIGNATURE Oven Range brings precision to cooking with Gourmet AI, which recognises over 80 dishes and automatically selects optimal cooking settings.

Its AI Browning feature tracks bread as it bakes and sends alerts via the ThinQ app once it reaches the desired doneness.

LG also introduces In Tune for Everyone, a dedicated space reflecting its ESG vision of Better Life for All, featuring accessibility tools such as the Comfort Kit and Easy-to-Read Books to support users of all ages and abilities.
