Samsung’s AI Home Companion, Making Chores a Thing of the Past

Imagine a home where chores basically do themselves. At The First Look 2026, Samsung gave us a peek into that future with its Home Companion zone, where AI-powered appliances see, listen, and even suggest turning everyday tasks into a hands-free experience.

Smarter Kitchens, Zero Hassle

The star of the show? The Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, a CES Innovation Award 2026 honoree. This fridge does more than keep food cold it shows your schedule, tracks your groceries, recommends recipes, and even helps you plan meals.

Paired with the Bespoke Double Wall Oven, 3-Door AutoView Fridge, and AI Wine Cellar, the AI Kitchen zone demonstrates a fully connected ecosystem where food management meets intelligent convenience. Google Gemini integration makes this the first fridge in the world to bring AI Vision straight into your kitchen.

Want to see it in action? Visitors could use voice commands to open doors, watch the fridge recognize ingredients, and even see AI analyze food usage to reduce waste. Meanwhile, the AI Wine Manager tracks bottles, grape types, vintages, and storage locations perfect for both casual sippers and wine enthusiasts.

Cleaning Made Effortless

The Home Companion concept doesn’t stop at the kitchen. Samsung’s Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum cleans intelligently, recognizing furniture, cables, and even liquids. With up to 10 watts of suction and a Qualcomm Dragonwing™ AI chipset, it mops, sanitizes, and keeps floors spotless.

For laundry, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo adjusts water, detergent, and drying based on fabric and load, while the AirDresser handles wrinkle care with high-temp steam. Seamless connectivity means your wash cycle settings automatically sync between machines zero effort, all convenience.

Built to Last

Samsung’s focus on durability matches its AI innovation. Over 50 years, they’ve made 500+ million compressors and motors, ensuring longevity and performance. Software updates for up to seven years keep appliances smarter, safer, and more connected than ever.

The Future of Home Life

From hands-free fridges to self-cleaning vacuums, Samsung’s Home Companion zone shows that appliances are no longer passive tools they’re interactive partners. The vision is clear: a home where chores are minimized, efficiency is maximized, and your everyday life feels effortless.
