When Valentine’s Day Meets Lunar New Year, This Is What the Feast Looks Like

Love, reunion and abundance take centre stage this February as Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur brings together two meaningful celebrations in one thoughtfully curated dining experience.

Running on 14 and 15 February 2026, Hearts & Harvest is a special lunch buffet hosted at Tuai + Till, the hotel’s farm-to-table, dual-dining venue. Designed to celebrate Valentine’s Day while honouring the spirit of the Lunar New Year, the experience invites families, couples and loved ones to gather over a shared table, where food becomes the language of connection.

The concept is simple yet symbolic. Harvest represents abundance, prosperity and reunion values deeply rooted in Lunar New Year traditions while Heart celebrates love, intimacy and togetherness. Together, they form a feast meant to be shared.

“We wanted to create something that feels meaningful, not just festive,” said Paul Cunningham, General Manager of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur.

“Hearts & Harvest reflects our farm-to-table philosophy while offering a space for people to reconnect over a meal that celebrates both abundance and togetherness.”

A Feast That Blends Heritage with Western Indulgence

At the heart of the Hearts & Harvest buffet is a thoughtful fusion of Malaysian flavours and Western sophistication, where every dish is crafted with intention, technique and locally loved ingredients.

Highlights include the Sarawak Pepper-crusted Roasted Rib Eye, rich with aromatic spice and perfectly tender, alongside a Whole Roasted Bidor Duck glazed in Orange Honey, offering a balance of sweetness and savoury depth.

Seafood lovers can expect comforting, hands-on indulgence with dishes like Chilli Mud Crab, best enjoyed communally with crispy man tao. Other standouts include Red Snapper in Bold Chilli Bean Sauce and the refined Steamed Egg topped with Abalone, Salmon Roe and Garlic Oil, a dish that delivers luxury in every spoonful.

Ending on a Sweet, Playful Note

Dessert brings the celebration full circle with a curated selection that bridges cultures and textures. Guests can indulge in Hazelnut Sea Salt Entremets, Mango Pandan Coconut Panna Cotta, delicate Ispahan Macarons, and handcrafted Chocolate Concierge Bonbons each playful, decadent and made to be shared.

More than just a meal, Hearts & Harvest reflects Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur’s approach to dining where global influences meet local flavours, and where moments around the table matter just as much as what’s on the plate.
