adidas Malaysia Partners SCORE Marathon 2026, Aims to Power Malaysia’s Biggest Running Event

adidas Malaysia has officially announced its partnership with SCORE Marathon 2026 as the Official Sportswear Partner, reinforcing its commitment to the running community through performance-driven innovation and continuous support for the sport in Malaysia.

Recognised by World Athletics as one of the country’s leading races, SCORE Marathon will take place on 18–19 July 2026 at Dataran Putrajaya. The event is expected to attract up to 50,000 participants and aims to secure a place in the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest running event in the nation.
Through this collaboration, adidas Malaysia seeks to leverage the scale of the marathon to strengthen engagement with runners while inspiring more Malaysians to take part in the sport.

“At adidas, ‘You Got This’ represents our belief that every runner regardless of where they are in their journey deserves to feel confident, supported, and empowered to push further. Whether it’s completing a first 5K or achieving a new personal best, we are committed to supporting runners at every stage of their progression.

Through our partnership with SCORE Marathon, we aim to bring this belief to life by creating meaningful experiences, increasing access to innovation, and fostering a stronger, more inclusive running community,” said Preston Page.

Meanwhile, Patricia Tan welcomed the collaboration, describing it as a shared effort to elevate the race experience while reaching a wider community of runners across the region.

As part of the partnership, all participants from 5KM to 42KM will receive an official adidas event tee, while runners in the 21KM and 42KM categories will also be awarded exclusive finisher tees.

In the lead-up to race day, adidas will roll out a series of structured running clinics from May to July 2026, led by adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur (ARKL) alongside certified coaches, experienced pacers, and elite runners. These sessions are designed to support participants across all categories, offering guidance on pacing strategies, endurance building, race-day preparation, and recovery techniques. Participants will also benefit from ongoing digital training support, including expert-led content and community-driven runs.

At the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC), taking place from 16 to 18 July 2026, adidas will introduce an immersive Adizero experiential zone, allowing runners to explore its premium racing range, including the Adizero Evo SL and Adizero Adios Pro 4. The zone will feature hands-on product trials, customisation stations, and expert consultations on performance gear and race-day strategies.

Additionally, two exclusive adidas x SCORE Marathon merchandise collections will be made available for early access.

During race weekend, adidas will further enhance the experience at the Race Village with a large-scale Adizero zone designed as both a performance showcase and recovery hub. Runners can access post-race recovery stations, engage in celebration moments, and explore product displays highlighting adidas’ latest innovations in racing performance.

Altogether, these initiatives form a comprehensive adidas presence at SCORE Marathon from preparation to performance and post-race recovery underscoring the brand’s commitment to supporting every runner’s journey.

This partnership marks another significant milestone in adidas Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to grow the sport of running, strengthen community engagement, and push the boundaries of performance running in the region.
