Horizon Watches Unveils The Nemolithic — Where Time is Carved in Stone

Independent watchmaker Horizon Watches proudly announced the launch of the Horizon Nemolithic, a bold evolution of the brand’s acclaimed Nemo platform — reimagined through the timeless beauty of natural stone.

The Nemolithic collection explores the intersection of geological history and modern watchmaking, transforming each timepiece into a wearable artifact shaped by nature itself. Retaining the recognizable Nemo DNA while pushing materials and aesthetics further, the Nemolithic introduces handcrafted stone dials, each uniquely formed by millions of years of natural processes.

A Dial Like No Other

Every Nemolithic dial is cut from genuine natural stone, ensuring that no two watches are ever identical. The inaugural series features five distinctive materials:

  • Tiger’s Eye — known for its golden chatoyancy and shifting depth
  • Lapis Lazuli — a deep celestial blue long associated with royalty and exploration
  • Malachite — vibrant green bands symbolizing renewal and transformation
  • Chrysocolla — an expressive blend of turquoise and earth tones
  • Meteorite — a fragment of the cosmos brought to the wrist

Each variant is strictly limited, emphasizing individuality and collectability within the independent watchmaking community.

The Nemo Evolution

While the Nemolithic introduces an entirely new aesthetic language, it remains grounded in the design principles that defined the original Nemo — strong architectural forms, layered visual depth, and a contemporary wrist presence.

The case architecture balances strength and elegance, framing the natural dial textures without overpowering them. Every detail is designed to let the stone speak — allowing light, angle, and movement to reveal shifting personalities throughout the day.

Craft, Character & Story

The name Nemolithic combines “Nemo,” representing the Horizon design lineage, and “Lithic,” referencing stone craftsmanship and humanity’s earliest creative expressions. The result is a timepiece that bridges past and present — a reminder that even in modern horology, nature remains the ultimate artist.

“Nemolithic is not just about material experimentation,” says Horizon Watches. “It’s about creating watches with soul — pieces that feel alive because they come from something real, ancient, and unrepeatable.”

Limited Availability

Each stone variant is produced in highly limited quantities, 23 pieces for each variant to be exact, reflecting both the rarity of the materials and the complexity involved in crafting ultra-thin stone dials suitable for everyday wear.

The Horizon Nemolithic is available from Red Army Watches stores located at Paviliion KL & 1Utama (www.redarmywatches.com.my) from RM4,620.
