HUAWEI Malaysia today announced the nationwide availability of the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series in two variants – the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Pro and HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1. Designed to keep children connected while supporting their independence, the series offers a range of communication, safety, and
smart features tailored for modern families.
Supporting global 2G/3G/4G connectivity, the series features multi-mode dual-band positioning — spanning satellite, base station, Wi-Fi, sensor-assisted, and SOS-assisted methods — for reliable location accuracy wherever children go. Via the HUAWEI FamCare app, children can stay connected with approved contacts through voice and HD video calls on HUAWEI MeeTime, with AI Noise Cancellation to filter background distractions. Parents can manage contacts, monitor usage, and track device activity remotely, with additional safeguards including real-time location tracking, SOS calling, Safety Zone alerts, and Class Mode.
The series also introduced a “photo buddy” feature built around a 5MP 110° ultra-wide-angle front camera and 13MP rear camera for capturing everyday moments. The Pro variant adds a detachable camera for more flexible capture beyond the wrist. Both models feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a flippable, 360-degree rotatable design and a lightweight build – appealing to children and adults alike who prefer a more playful smartwatch experience.
Available in four mecha-inspired colourways — Pink and Blue for the X1, Black and Purple for the X1 Pro — the series balances expressive design with everyday practicality.
The HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Pro is priced at RM1,599, and the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 at RM999. Both are available now at all HUAWEI Experience Stores, the HUAWEI Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, and the HUAWEI Official TikTok Shop. Customers will receive free gifts worth up to RM808, including a 1-year HUAWEI Care+ subscription and a 1-year APAC Warranty.
