Taking the Beautiful Game to the Boardroom

Kuala Lumpur, 19 June 2026 – The MET Corporate Towers in Mont Kiara was transformed by a community initiative to bring the excitement and energy of the
football season into a corporate setting. The inaugural Jom Sepak kicked off to an exciting start, bringing together business leaders, partners, tenants, and the
wider community for a morning filled with connection, conversation, and camaraderie..

Hosted by boutique property developer, Triterra, Jom Sepak is a unique connect session and watch party that brings together the business community through a
shared passion for football. Five sessions will be held over June and July, designed to celebrate the spirit of the beautiful game.

The initiative ultimately creates a platform for meaningful engagement, networking, and relationship-building beyond the traditional business environment.

The initiative reflects Triterra’s commitment to creating innovative platforms that bridge business and lifestyle, offering a fresh approach to relationship-building in
today’s fast-evolving corporate landscape.

Mr Christopher Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Triterra, shared

“Jom Sepak represents our belief that meaningful connections are built beyond the boardroom. Through the shared passion for football, we are creating a platform where our partners, business leaders, and the wider community can come together, engage, and build relationships in a more relaxed and authentic setting.”

Adding to the excitement, football legends Abbas Saad and Fandi Ahmad — celebrated figures who have made their mark in Malaysia and on the international stage as players and coaches — will share their insights, perspectives, and match commentary throughout the five sessions.

Their involvement brings an added dimension to the experience, offering guests the opportunity to hear first-hand reflections and expert perspectives from two figures who have made their mark in ASEAN football.

Abbas Saad shared,

“Football has always been about bringing people together — not just through the game itself, but through the shared experiences and connections that happen around it. Jom Sepak is a great way to bring football and business together in a more relaxed setting, giving people the opportunity to connect and engage through a common passion for the sport.”

Fandi Ahmad added,

“Football is all about connection, discipline, and shared passion. Through the years, I’ve seen how much Malaysia and Singapore can learn from each other, both in football and beyond. Events like Jom Sepak create a nice opportunity for people from both sides to connect, share stories, and enjoy the
game together. And of course, having Abbas around always makes things more interesting!”

With five sessions taking place throughout June and July, Jom Sepak is set to continue building momentum, bringing more opportunities to celebrate the
teamwork that defines both sport and business. Through initiatives like Jom Sepak, Triterra continues to position The MET Corporate Towers as more than a
workplace, but as a dynamic destination where business and community co-exist.
