To mark its 15th anniversary in Malaysia, Dermatix has launched See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, a new campaign designed to encourage open conversations around Caesarean section recovery and the postpartum experience.
The initiative centers on an interactive, AI-powered microsite that allows mothers across Malaysia to submit personal reflections from their C-section journeys and transform them into custom digital illustrations.
Breaking the Silence on Postpartum Recovery
For many mothers, recovering from a C-section involves navigating emotional adjustments and shifts in self-perception alongside physical healing aspects of childbirth that are rarely discussed openly.
The See Her Heal platform provides a safe, private, and creative space for women to process and share these unsaid moments.
“Recovery after childbirth is deeply personal, and many mothers may feel that parts of their C-section experience are not openly spoken about or fully understood,” said Josie Ong, General Manager of Menarini Malaysia. “Through See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, we hope to create a supportive space where mothers can share their stories, feel acknowledged, and know that they are not alone.”
How the Campaign Works
- AI-Generated Storytelling: Mothers can submit personal reflections about their recovery journey on the official microsite to receive a customized, AI-illustrated story moment.
- Community & Panel Discussions: The campaign kicked off with a launch event featuring maternal health experts, parenting creators, and community leaders discussing emotional reassurance and postpartum care.
- Giving Back to the Community: As part of its 15-year milestone, parent company A. Menarini Malaysia is partnering with the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM) to sponsor cleft lip surgery costs and provide post-surgical scar care products for children in need.
