OPPO A7 Pro Series Debuts in Malaysia With 50MP AI Selfie Camera and Massive 10,000mAh Battery

OPPO A7 Pro Series Debuts in Malaysia With 50MP AI Selfie Camera and Massive 10,000mAh Battery

Smartphone users looking for a device that can handle photography, gaming and long days away from the charger now have two new options, as OPPO introduces the A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G in Malaysia.

The latest additions to OPPO’s A-series place a strong emphasis on photography and battery endurance, with both models featuring a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera, while the A7 Pro Max packs an ultra-thin 10,000mAh battery.

Fit More Into Your Selfies

One of the key highlights of the A7 Pro Series is its 50MP front camera, which offers a 100-degree field of view designed to fit more people and scenery into a single shot.

Its AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch can automatically adjust between 1x and 0.6x depending on the number of people entering the frame, making group selfies easier without users having to manually change the setting.

OPPO has also introduced Natural Tone for A-Series, which calibrates colour rendering to produce more natural-looking skin tones while reducing excessive whitening and smoothing.

At the back, a 50MP Main Camera equipped with a large 1/2-inch sensor is claimed to capture 70% more light than the previous generation. The phones also feature AI Night Mode to improve details in darker environments and reduce common issues such as noise and facial blur.

For those who enjoy creating content for social media, the new AI Popout feature allows subjects to visually break out of their original photo frames and be turned into creative collages.

Up to 10,000mAh Battery

Battery life is another major focus, particularly on the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G, which comes with a 10,000mAh ultra-thin battery.

According to OPPO, the battery can deliver up to 30.9 hours of Google Maps navigation, 14.7 hours of WhatsApp video calls or 15 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming on a single charge.

Despite the large capacity, the A7 Pro Max supports 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, which OPPO says can fully charge the phone in 91 minutes. A five-minute charge can provide 11% battery capacity.

The A7 Pro 5G, meanwhile, comes with an 8,000mAh battery and 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, taking approximately 101 minutes for a full charge. Both models also support Reverse Wired Charging, allowing them to power compatible accessories on the go.

Early-Bird Deals Available

To mark the launch, OPPO is offering several promotions for early buyers from September 11 to 18, 2026 through the OPPO Online Store.

Customers can secure either model for RM50 to unlock a Deal Pack worth RM629. Buyers of the A7 Pro Max will receive an OPPO Enco Air4 Gift Coupon, while A7 Pro buyers will receive an OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro Gift Coupon.

Launch rebates of RM200 for the A7 Pro Max and RM100 for the A7 Pro are also available during the promotional period.

Customers can also purchase selected accessories at special prices while stocks last, including the OPPO Portable Wireless Speaker for RM149 and OPPO Enco Buds3 for RM99.
