Goodday KidSTART 4.0 Returns to Nurture Malaysia’s Next Generation of Young Entrepreneurs

Goodday Milk is bringing back Goodday KidSTART 4.0, giving young Malaysians another opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, develop creative ideas and build practical skills.

Now in its fourth season, the programme is evolving beyond a competition into a broader learning journey. For the first time, it will also reach the big screen through a new film showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of young participants.

Recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the nation’s largest kidpreneur programme, Goodday KidSTART has grown significantly since its debut. It welcomed 340 participants in its first year before reaching 8,000 students in Season 3.

Building on this progress, Season 4 will take participants through nationwide school roadshows, hands-on learning, expert-led mentorship and bootcamps.

Their journey will eventually lead to the national stage, with selected participants also getting the opportunity to be featured in the upcoming film.

Taking Entrepreneurship Beyond the Classroom

Backed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Goodday KidSTART complements classroom learning through practical experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving and communication.

Throughout the programme, students will learn to identify real-world problems, develop creative solutions and turn their ideas into workable business concepts.

Selected participants will also receive further guidance from experienced mentors as they progress through the competition.

The journey will culminate in a national finale, where the top finalists will pitch their ideas to industry leaders and guest judges. They will stand a chance to win a share of RM60,000 worth of prizes to help bring their ideas further.

Bringing Young Kidpreneurs to the Big Screen

Beyond the competition, Season 4 introduces a new film that will bring participants’ ideas and experiences to a wider audience.

Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn. Bhd. and spokesperson for Goodday Milk, said the programme was ready to take its journey further after three seasons.

She explained that the move to the big screen would allow children’s ideas to reach more people, including parents and families.

Rather than ending when the competition concludes, the film will give their journeys a chance to continue being seen and shared.

Goodday Milk also hopes to nurture children beyond physical growth by building their curiosity, creativity and confidence through meaningful exposure and practical experiences.

How to Join Goodday KidSTART 4.0

The search for Malaysia’s next kidpreneurs is now open to children across the country who are passionate about problem-solving and innovation.

Here is how interested participants can take part:

  1. Submit an idea: Participants must submit a one-minute video introducing themselves and presenting their business idea through the official Goodday KidSTART website.
  2. Learn and develop: The Top 300 participants will advance to an online workshop and bootcamp. They will receive expert-led coaching and mentorship to refine their ideas and strengthen their pitches.
  3. Take the national stage: Shortlisted participants will progress through an intensive bootcamp, with finalists advancing to the Grand Finale. They will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience for a chance to win a share of RM60,000 worth of prizes.

Applications are now open at gooddaykidstart.my.
