IJM Land Seremban 2 Adds EV And Solar Perks To Homeownership With Shock & Shiok Campaign

A home purchase today is about more than location, space and design. Homebuyers are also considering how their homes can support everyday living, mobility and household costs in the years ahead.

With this in mind, IJM Land Seremban 2 has launched the Shock and Shiok Campaign @ Seremban 2, combining EV mobility, solar support and future-ready features across selected homes.

Running from 1 July to 31 December 2026, the campaign is open to eligible purchasers of selected developments, including Sutera Phases 1 and 2, Batiq Phase 1, Nova Phases 1 and 2, and Vio Banj’ran.

The “Shock” And The “Shiok”

Inspired by a familiar Malaysian expression, the campaign combines an exciting reward with longer-term homeownership benefits.

The “Shock” comes in the form of a chance to win one of three Proton e.MAS 5 Premium electric vehicles, worth a combined RM209,400* and fully funded by IJM Land Seremban 2.

Meanwhile, the “Shiok” extends beyond the initial excitement.

Participating homes come with built-in EV-ready charging isolator points, while eligible purchasers of Sutera, Batiq and Nova will receive complimentary solar PV panels.

Together, these features are designed to support future mobility, energy use and household planning beyond the point of purchase.

A Future-Ready Township

The campaign also builds on Seremban 2’s established township ecosystem, which brings together residential neighbourhoods, commercial conveniences, education access, connectivity, community facilities, parks and green spaces.

This allows EV-ready provisions and solar support to complement a wider living environment designed around convenience and long-term liveability.

“The Shock and Shiok Campaign was shaped by a clear shift in how families think about homeownership today,” said Datuk Chai Kian Soon, Chief Operating Officer of IJM Land.

“Buyers are looking beyond the home as a physical space. They are asking how it can support daily movement, energy use and long-term household planning.”

He added that the campaign brings together EV mobility, solar support and township living into one practical proposition designed to deliver value beyond the point of purchase.

“Future-ready homeownership must be practical in daily life,” Datuk Chai said. “By bringing together EV mobility, solar support, township convenience and green spaces, we are creating a living environment that supports EV adoption, better household energy planning and greater confidence for families in the years ahead.”

Through the Shock and Shiok Campaign, IJM Land Seremban 2 aims to give homebuyers more than a place to live, by connecting homeownership with practical features designed for evolving lifestyle needs.
