Covid-19 cases in the country returned to single-digit numbers today with only 6 positive cases of new Covid-19 infections reported as of Wednesday (September 2, 2020), at 12 noon.
According to a report by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), out of the 6 new cases reported, four cases were import cases involving and two cases were local contagion.
No new clusters were recorded and an increase in COVID-19-related deaths was reported in the country where the cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths in Malaysia remained at 125 cases or 1.34 percent of the total cases.
