Recently, Netflix has released the first trailer for ‘Masters of the Universe: Revelation’ on its own YouTube page. The trailer excites so many fans for the fictional superhero and the main character of the sword and sorcery-themed Masters of the Universe franchise that is the one and only He-Man. It is exactly what fans all over the world were hoping for from the long-awaited return. The particular show will hit the streaming service on the 23rd of July 2021.
This brand new He-Man series that would be available on Netflix is actually not a reboot of the famous classic cartoon. Instead, it is a continuation from it which picks up right after the original show ended in the year 1985 with the excellent addition of Mark Hamill as the voice of the well-known villain in the show that is known as Skeletor.
It kicks off with a climactic battle between He-Man and also Skeletor as teased in the footage, that fractures Eternia and leaves the Guardians of Grayskull scattered. The awaited preview arrived during Netflix’s Geeked Week virtual event on Thursday. It is definitely filled with all the color, charm, and chaos that characterized the show’s legendary ’80s run.
The series will feature voice actors Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Chris Wood as Prince Adam/He-Man, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, and more. It will even include characters like Scare Glow and He-Ro from the original Mattel toys, who never appeared in the old animated series. With 10 episodes total, the show will be split into two parts of five episodes each.
