COVID-19 has changed a lot about our lives and that includes our grooming decisions. We have had to adapt nearly every aspect of our lives to this new, harsh reality. The way we work, socialize, date, shop, worship, travel, and learn have all had to change and that includes our personal grooming habits. Some of us have really huge struggles on this.
Since the stay-at-home orders, folks have had to make do without regular access to beauty professionals. With no exact timeline ahead, it seems like self-isolation might be the perfect time for a daring reinvention. We have had to teach ourselves how to take a pair of hair-cutting scissors that we bought to our ragged ends. These are 3 ways that men all over the worlds can do towards their growing hair that are getting longer as they stay at home to manage it.
1) Wave Band
People have always thought David Beckham’s shoulder-length-bleach-dipped hair looked best pushed back into a wave band. He’s wearing his hair much shorter these days, but these are due for a comeback nevertheless.
2) Chip Clip
There is virtually no difference in engineering between a purpose-built hair clip and the clips designed to keep potato chip bags closed. Look around for something fun. This could help your hair to be put in place easily.
3) Chemicals
Hair product is a lot easier to use, and is also less obvious if you pick the right stuff. There’s a whole world of creams and pastes that will keep your hair brushed away, out of your eyes. One that’s worth a special mention, particularly for curly or coarse styles, is Pantene’s Gold Series. It is stocked in almost every corner of America, and the styling suite they launched last year including an argan oil-infused curl spray and braid cream that works to hydrate hair into malleability. I have found that the more moisture you give your hair, the more likely it is to surprise you by looking effortlessly good at random times.
