The fascinating looks come from various red carpets. For example would be the Grammys, the Oscars, or even the MET Gala. All of the events would always have mesmerizing looks to be talked about for a long while. So amazing.

1) Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress

This memorable piece of fashion was actually from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The stylist for this dress is Nicola Formichetti while the designer is Franc Fernandez. Behind the fame of this dress, it was actually condemned by both The Vegetarian Society and also PETA. On the other side of the spectrum, Time magazine has indeed named this dress to be the top fashion statement in the year 2010. It is fully made out of raw meat. According to Lady Gaga, this dress has its own representation. That would be to represent fighting for what one believes in. So amazing of it.

2) Lizzy Gardiner’s American Express Gown

This was a gown worn by an Australian costume designer named Lizzy Gardiner. The event was the 67th Academy Awards held on the 27th of March 1995. Amazingly, all the cards used to make the gown are all real but had expired. At first, no bank in this whole wide world allowed her to use the card from their bank. Then, she got approval from American Express when she got nominated for an Academy Award. She was provided with a total of 254 expired AMEX cards to be used. Sadly, the gown is considered to be one of the worst Oscar gowns of all time. So devastating.

3) Bjork’s The Swan Dress

Bjork has worn this dress for the 73rd Academy Awards on the 25th of March 2001. It was actually an iconic dress that resembles a white swan. It was designed by the talented Marjan Pejoski. The dress even came with an egg purse. According to Bjork, the dress was supposed to represent fertility. In fact, Valentino reimagined the dress as one of his Spring 2014 Couture fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. A lot of people indeed love the creation of Valentino.

4) Gwyneth Paltrow’s 1999 Oscar Gown

She wore the dress for the 71st Academy Awards on the 21st of March 1999. It got mixed reviews from a lot of people. The dress was one of the most admired red carpet dresses of all time. The designer for it was Ralph Lauren and it has a relatively simple design. It was actually adapted from a pink taffeta skirt that Gwyneth Paltrow wanted to wear.
