Grocery Shop Accidentally Charged $1,397 Instead of $13.97 Using Customer Credit Card

A grocery store called Angel Supermart in Singapore has put out a notice to find one of their customer that has been accidentally overcharged price.

The incident happens when the grocery store cashier accidentally pressed the wrong amount. It was supposed to be S$13.97 (RM42.66) but the customer instead was charged with S$1,397 ( RM4265.99) on his credit card.

The grocery store also has put out a notice on Facebook to find the customer yesterday.

According to Mothership.sg, it can be seen in the comments section that they also outlined their intention to refund the man in cash because it was their mistake.

Luckily soon after, the grocery store has found the customer and the refund has been given back. Not just that, a VIP membership along with some drinks and snacks were also given to the customer.
