Good news to all the people who are lazy to take a shower! Science Co. Ltd., based in Osaka, Japan recently revealed plans to develop a human washing machine as part of its Mirable product line. You can take a shower automatically instead of manually soon!
For your information, the company is well-known for its many advancements in bath and kitchen technology. The newest “fine bubble technology,” a plethora of monitoring sensors, and an AI system come together in “Project Usoyaro,” a system that creates a sophisticated bathing experience.
Interestingly, the idea of a human washing machine is not a novel one. The Japanese electronics manufacturer Sanyo Electric displayed its “Ultrasonic Bath” at the Osaka Expo in 1970. Ultrasonic Bath was a human washing machine that cleansed, massaged, and dried the user in a fully-automated 15-minute cycle. However, the idea was never really successful as a marketable product.
Now, Science Co. Ltd. wants to give it a try. What’s more, the company promises to create an updated version of the human washing machine by the year 2025.
Besides, the company has said that the purpose of Project Usoyaro is not only to completely clean the user’s body, but also to provide a healing place where the user may rest. The user may rest while listening to calming music. And also, view visuals on water-resistant display inside the machine.
In addition to that, built-in sensors in the machine will assess the user’s sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Then the AI will use the information to tailor the environment to the user’s preferences. Sounds cool, right?
Last but not least, the company intends to unveil the finished product of Project Usoyaro, the human washing machine at the 2025 Osaka Expo.
