In May last year, the world has been shocked by the birth of nonuplets babies. Halima Cissé, then 26, gave birth to nine babies in Morocco for specialist care.
The babies, five girls, and four boys broke the Guinness World Record for the most children delivered in a single birth to survive. They were born at only 30 weeks.
Now a year old, the babies return home to Mali after having to stay in Morocco to receive care for months. They arrived home on Tuesday.

Upon arriving in Mali, Abdelkader Arby, the babies’ father thanked the Malian government for helping them financially. He also expressed his gratitude to God for His blessings.
“It’s a lot of work, but Allah, who gave us this blessing, will help us in their upbringing and taking care of them.”
The nonuplets were also a surprise for both parents. When Cissé was taken to a clinic in Morocco, the doctors expected her to give birth to seven babies. During surgery through a Caesarean section, only then the doctors knew that there were nine of them.
Born at 30 weeks, the babies weigh between 1-2 lbs. Thus, they have to remain in incubators for several months.

Talking about the babies, Arby revealed that each of his children has a different personality. Some of them are quiet, and some of them are noisy. Some are calm, and some want to be picked up all the time.
Cissé and Arby are blessed to have these babies and are grateful for the nonuplets perfect health.
