Malaysia’s Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah stated that there are 31 new cases of COVID-19 infections that have been confirmed.
From those cases, 11 case was import cases while the other 20 were local cases. This resulted in a total of 8,369 cases of COVID-19 in Malaysia.
Therefore, the total number of active cases with COVID-19 infection was 1,186 cases. They were isolated and treated.
It was announced at today’s press conference on Covid-19’s Recent Developments in Malaysia.
To date, 5 positive cases of Covid-19 are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Of these, there are no cases that required respiratory assistance.
It also has been reported that there are also no COVID-19 deaths cases that have been reported today. Thus, the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia was still 118 cases.
