Japan has allowed around 250 foreign travelers to enter their country per day. Those foreign travelers or foreigners must be from Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Vietnam.
But for now, within the 250 foreigners, it will initially only apply to business people like executives or engineers. Those 4 countries were chosen because the COVID-19 outbreak in their country was under control. Not just that, they also have strong economic ties with Japan.
Depends on the situation, Japan’s government might expand the list later to other countries such as South Korea, China, and the United States.
Japan until now has ban foreign travelers from 111 countries, including Malaysia. Foreigners who have been to these countries within the last 2 weeks will not be allowed to enter.
