COVID-19 – Italy Records 10,779 Deaths, 97,689 Infection Cases

The COVID-19 outbreak in Italy has now claimed 10,779 lives with a cumulative number of 97,689 cases, according to the Department of Public Protection on Sunday.

A total of 756 COVID-19 patients died within the last 24 hours, Xinhua news agency reported.

The total number of patients treated in the intensive care unit was 3, 906.
